The goal is to have a proprietary core, but open source plugin ecosystem. The plugin system is already in place and I have bunch of plugin templates to begin with. Majority of the ideas are borrowed from the WordPress ecosystem, i.e. hooks and whatnot. One value added feature that already works is a TS type based OpenAPI documentation, which essentially enables self-documenting plugin system.
I’ve personally worked in the ERP world for over 10 years now and I’m painfully aware of the daily challenges of implementing a new ERP system. The long-term idea is to attack these one by one, and eventually I should have the perfect ERP framework.
